We regret to inform you that, in light of recent developments, we have decided to cancel the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, October 13, 2023. The safety and well-being of our participants, including students, staff, and families, are our utmost priority.
We are aware of a pro-Palestinian demonstration also scheduled for tomorrow. Given the potential for large crowds and the need to maintain a peaceful environment for all participants, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone our event.
We understand the importance of raising awareness for breast cancer and supporting those affected by it. We are actively exploring alternative dates for the walk to ensure that we can continue our mission while ensuring the safety of all involved.
