Dear Parents & Guardians of the Dock Street School,

The Dock Street School Parent Teacher Association welcomes new and returning parents for the 2025-26 academic year.

The PTA serves to support the mission and vision of The Dock Street School. We hope to work with you to provide the Dock Street students with a wealth of knowledge, skills, and unique opportunities to help prepare them for high school and beyond. Our PTA helps build connections between our vibrant community of parents, grandparents, caretakers, and neighbors, such as local businesses that graciously support our school. We advocate for our children and the school to speak in one strong voice on behalf of our children’s needs.

All Dock Street parents and guardians are members of the PTA and are encouraged to attend meetings and collaborate on projects and event planning. We are a group of diverse, engaged, and dedicated parents. We learn together, learn from each other, make connections, and build relationships that support Dock Street and our families at home.

Participating in meetings will help you understand what is happening at the school, participate in school-wide efforts and governance, hear from the principal and learn about programs and opportunities for your child.

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 5;30 PM via zoom. Each meeting includes getting to know other parents, a special topic and/or guest and, Q&A with the principal. The upcoming meeting schedule is listed below:
