Our 8th grade scholars are given the extraordinary opportunity to challenge themselves by preparing for the Algebra I, Biology, and Spanish Language Proficiency (SLP) Regents Exams. Through our accelerated classes and rigorous instruction, students not only rise to meet high expectations—they exceed them.
Students who pass these Regents exams can earn high school credit before even leaving middle school, setting a powerful foundation for academic success. Many of our learners go on to take advanced courses like Earth Science and, starting this year, we’re excited to offer U.S. History as another Regents-level opportunity!
With these accomplishments, Dock Street scholars are prepared to enter high school with confidence—and a head start—ready to pursue Advanced Placement (AP) and college-level classes.
